Shower Tales

Okay so this really bugs me; I often come up with my better ideas while washing my hair in the shower. Unfortunately most of the time shortly after exiting the shower I completely forget my idea, but I can remember that I had an idea. At least most of the time I do, I may forget having an idea in the first place. For all I know I might have figured out a way to cure the common cold years ago, and totally forgot about it.

Band

Yesterday we had our first marching band rehersal of the year. It went okay aside from the fact that we only have 12 practices before our first game, we need the music totally memorized by next week, people were to busy talking to pay attention and we didn't have enough time to do everything we needed to do. And to top it all off, only three days after getting my cast off I went and twisted my ankle while marching. Needless to say I'm not allowed to march in my sandals again.

I think I've gone crazy for thinking that all of the previous mentioned stuff in "all in the fun of it" and am actually looking forward to the rest of the season. I'm also happy that more of my friends have decided to join this year that didn't last year.

Hiccups

I hate hiccups, especially my hiccups. They're horrible, I've been known to blackout from them. But they are also funny. My mother for example compared me to a sickly seal because of how they sound.

Yet Again

As I am never satisfied with my own writing skills, I have once again decided to completely restart the writing if my story about Marinia. This will be the 8th version of the same story, hopefully I'll get at least a fourth through this format before I get frustrated and start over, again. Maybe I'll get halfway through the story before I retire.

Pertaining to Tea (what a shocker)

In previous posts i mentioned that by linking to adagio.com they'd send me free tea. Well today I recieved my free sample of citron green tea in the mail. The tea itself is actually quite good. Also in case you did not know, almost all of the tea sold on this website is loose leaf and not in bags, and the true proper way to steep the leaves is with a pot that has an infuser (I recommend the ingenuitea pot). And Adagio is prepared in case the people that they send free tea to do not have such an infuser by providing you with three of their empty paper tea bags for you to fill yourself. I'm quite happy at this because I can use these bags when I'm away from home, and if I choose I can order another 100 tea bags for just $3. So yet again I've been pleasantly surprised at the service from Adagio. I also appologize for sounding like a TV commercial, and for not posting anything recently

French Fries

My mother and I went to McDonalds for lunch, we had those new "premium" chicken sandwiches(which were actually quite good, but that's not my point) and my mom didn't want to eat much of hers then. She decided to take it home with us but didn't want it to shake around in the box, so she used french fries as packing material to cushion the sandwich. Now I think I'll go have some tea...

Room

Well I missed posting yesterday because I was too preoccupied with planning. Over the next few weeks I'll be re-doing my bedroom, and I was too busy selecting colors to remember to post here.

Randomness

Again I must say, I'm horrible at titles. Today I slightly altered my appearance, I'm not going to tell you how though, at least not yet. I also went to block party for National Night Out, I realized how out of the loop I am when I looked around at all of my neighbors and didn't recognize half of them. I talked for a bit with my neighbor across the street who will be starting Cooper this year, she seemed a little scared about getting lost drastically on her first day. I didn't exactly help by saying that she'd be lucky if she doesn't miss the bus home. Today's tea flavor was passionfruit, it was quite tasty as well. I spent most of the afternoon cleaning my room and rearranging furniture, yes I rearranged furniture in a cast.

Regarding Tea (what a shock)

As I mentioned in aprevious post, by linking to the Adagio website they offer you free tea and tea related items. I recieved an email today saying that a free sample of tea shipped out today. I'll be sure to post when I actually recieve it. They also didn't say what kind of tea I'd recieve.

I'm bad at titles

I'm trying to maintain my goal to at least attempt posting at least once a day (I purposefully included those loop-hole ridden details) so I'm getting today's post over with.

I feel rather special because not only did I inspire my friend Alisa Rose to start a blog but I also inadvertently inspired the title too, because syllables do rock. They rock hardcore, like Alisa.

In a few minutes I'm going to go with my mother to Target to test our phones, in the past our phones have mysteriously lost reception immediately upon entering the store. We hope that because we have nicer phones with SIM cards the problem might not be so bad anymore.

And here's a surprise: I'm currently not drinking any tea
